Why Driftwood Exists

Driftwood Advisory Group helps leadership teams build organizational stability — aligning data, process, and decision governance — so emerging technologies deliver real business value.

Purpose-built for leaders who must balance urgency with sustainable outcomes, not just adopt trends.

Driftwood Advisory Group was founded to help leadership teams navigate the gap between aspiration and execution. Too often organizations pursue the next big technology before they’ve built the data foundations, governance, and operational certainty needed to make it succeed.

AI and other emerging technologies move fast — but organizational stability, decision clarity, and accountable execution move value forward.

The Driftwood Philosophy

Clarify the Why

Align leadership on the business outcomes technology is meant to support — grounded in measurable success metrics and strategic priorities.

Assess Readiness

Evaluate data stability, operating models, governance, and organizational alignment to understand what will truly deliver impact.

Reduce Risk

Identify operational and change-management risks early, so transformation doesn’t outpace stability.

Design the Path Forward

Translate strategy into a practical, sequenced roadmap that connects people, process, and technology with accountability.

Enable Execution

Support implementation and adoption so initiatives move beyond concepts to measurable business impact.

This enables leaders to innovate without compromising trust, stability, or long-term value.

About the Founder

Driftwood Advisory Group was founded by Ryan Manis, a seasoned executive leader with deep experience at the intersection of product, operations, and technology.

Throughout his career, Ryan has led software engineering and product organizations, built repeatable operating systems, and driven measurable performance outcomes in complex, high-growth SaaS environments. His work has consistently focused on translating strategy into disciplined execution — ensuring that data, governance, and accountability are in place before scaling innovation.

Ryan brings the rare ability to move fluidly between executive strategy and technical execution. While not a career engineer, he has led engineering teams, overseen product development, and understands the practical realities of building and scaling technology. This operator’s perspective grounds Driftwood’s philosophy: stability first, value second, technology third.

Driftwood reflects Ryan’s belief that AI and emerging technologies should enhance well-run organizations — not compensate for unstable foundations.
